Big hotel with comfy location next to the outlet, other attractions and San Marcos. Easy check-in, easy check-out, exceptional staff. Nice building and rooms with 2 queen beds. The pool area is heated too. Everything great. Such great stay for our road trip.

The staff provided attentive service, always greeting us with a smile. Our room was clean and well-maintained.

Breakfast was not good.

Friendly staff made check-in easy, and the spacious room was comfortable, but cleanliness was a major issue. The sofa bed had unpleasant surprises, including a dirty coffee cup and wet sheets. The breakfast options were limited and not appealing, leading us to seek food elsewhere.

We stayed one night with our kids and dog, and it was amazing! The staff treated us so kindly, especially when they quickly addressed a noisy situation with a barking dog nearby. Our Queen Room was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family.

My children wanted more healthy breakfast options for families.

The comfort of the bed was appreciated, and the room was mostly clean. There were several maintenance issues, like a malfunctioning toilet and an unsatisfactory breakfast selection. The indoor pool situation also caused frustration, as it kept being unavailable during the stay.

We appreciated the spacious room and nice shower, but the lack of swimming and breakfast options certainly put a damper on our short getaway.

The Comfort Inn in San Marcos had its ups and downs. I loved the spacious common areas. The staff were polite and helped with my luggage. The breakfast had a decent variety, though it could use more options. My room was quite nice, but the cleanliness was a bit inconsistent-definitely had some spots that needed attention. Water pressure in the shower was good, but the remote for the TV didn't work, a bummer since I like to unwind by watching some shows after a long day. Also had a bit of an issue with billing. I was charged differently than what I initially agreed to, made check-in rather frustrating. Luckily, the other staff tried to help out, but it still left a bad taste. If they could improve communication on pricing and focus more on room cleanliness, it would elevate the experience significantly.

While my stay lasted only three nights, I enjoyed the spacious King Room Non-Smoking at Comfort Inn. The cleanliness of communal areas kinda surprised me. The breakfast options lacked variety. Nonetheless, the cute atmosphere was good.

A solid stay despite a couple hiccups

We stayed for a night and the place was pretty clean. The king bed was super comfy, but the noise from kids running around was kinda annoying. Breakfast was decent, but the breakfast attendant seemed a bit cranky. Found a cold drink cup left in the fridge, a bit off. Not too bad!

The staff was friendly and. This budget-friendly option exceeded my expectations compared to my last stay in san marcos, and i'd gladly return again.
